If your light is a Gen II LED Lighthawk built before 10‑2022, Koehler’s own service replaces the battery, the circuit board and the safety markings together — see the note below. If the light is used in a hazardous location, that service is the correct route, because fitting an uncertified cell can invalidate the rating.

Anyone with a Gen II LED Lighthawk built before 10-2022 would need to return the light to KBS for service.  They would replace both the battery, circuit board and also alter the safety markings to the current listings for a cost of $165.
