Description
Renogy’s P2 is a 3,000-watt pure sine wave inverter for 12-volt battery banks — enough continuous power for larger appliances in an RV, truck, van or off-grid cabin, with a 6,000-watt peak for motor start-up.
It works with lithium, AGM, sealed, gel and flooded lead-acid batteries, and comes with a 16.4 ft wired remote, so the inverter can sit close to the batteries while the switch sits where you can reach it.

At full load a 3,000-watt inverter draws close to 280 amps from a 12-volt battery bank, so the battery cables and fuse have to be sized for it. The inverter calculator works out the cable size and checks 3,000 watts against what you plan to run.
